Top German Travel Journalists Cruise Into Offaly

Leading travel journalists and influencers from Germany enjoyed a cruise on the River Shannon and a visit to Co Offaly – as guests of Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and German cruising tour operator, Le Boat.

The visiting group included a popular YouTube cruise personality, a photographer and travel journalists, with a combined audience of about 4.8 million readers – or potential German holidaymakers for Ireland. They were here to find out more about cruising holidays on the Shannon and its tributaries and to experience at first-hand the spectacular scenery and the wealth of things to see and do in this part of Ireland.
