Sonya Lennon Fuels Her Need For Speed With The Audi R8

Fashion designer, businesswoman and Audi ambassador Sonya Lennon recently took the opportunity to skill up in high performance driving at the Nürburgring, commonly known as The Green Hell, as part of the Audi Sportscar Experience. This scintillating experience offers driving enthusiasts the chance to get behind the wheel of the Audi R8 and witness first-hand the sportiness and might of the stunning sports car.

Before getting her chance to tackle the circuit herself Sonya witnessed how the professionals handle the strength and performance of the Audi R8. As part of her training, Sonya got acquainted with all of the racetrack’s particular features, working out the racing line one bit at a time in a number of different models such as the Audi RS5, TT RS Coupé and the RS6 Avant. Before getting her chance to take the wheel of the sports car Sonya took the passenger seat as Audi driver Harold Büttner, a seasoned race car professional for over 30 years,brought her on her first lap of the course.

With her training complete finally it was time for Sonya to strap on her helmet and experience the thrill of driving the 610bhp iconic Audi R8 V10+ around the track. As she took in the course Sonya remarks it took a little while to relax into the capacity of the breath-taking machine but once she settles in the adrenaline takes over “This machine is the next level. I’m getting one!”
