A Chance To Dance At Birr Theatre & Arts Centre
A Chance To Dance, a summer camp for children with special needs will be running at Birr Theatre & Arts Centre from Monday 11-Thursday 14 July.
Facilitated by Mia King, this is an opportunity for children with special needs age 6 – 12 years (negotiable) to spend time with an experienced professional dance artist who will lead them in creative dance and movement.
A chance to dance at Birr Theatre and Arts Centre
Participants will be working with lots of different types of props including feathers, scarves and beanbags as well as different types of music to help their creative movement.
Running each day from 10am-1pm, there will be a relaxation session to begin with followed by some improvisation and freestyle movement for their children to show off their moves.
