Minor Football League

Clara played Ballycumber/Tubber tonight in Clara in the Minor Football League. Playing some very nice football, we led 1-09 to 0-02 at half time. We continued to play well in the second half and ended up running out comfortable winners on a score line of 4-15 to 1-07.The Clara team was: Wesley Johnson, Josh McCloskey, Ciaran Doyle, Darryl O’Brien, Brandon Tobella (0-01),Adam Owens, Conor Egan (1-01), David Falsey (0-01), Tommy Dolan, Conor Murray (0-01),Cathal O’Meara (0-03), Sean Tierney, Mark Newman (0-04, 0-01free), Josh Fleming (0-02) andJack Meares. U14 Football Feile

Clara played DER Gaels on Friday night last and won on a score line of 6-21 to 0-01. The Clara panel was: Connor Cushen, Stephen Falsey, Dion Conroy, Aodhan Moran, Luke Kennedy, Thomas Devine, Adam McCloskey, Cormac Delaney, Jack Reynolds, Patrick Phelan, Alex Egan, Adam Grennan, Eoin Gavin, Adam Kelly, Kai Dunne, Josh Fitzpatrick, Rockie McDonagh, Liam Dignam, Connor Doyle, Stephen Roe Neil Robbins, Lee Tierney and Barry Egan.

Lotto Results                                     

The draw for the weekly club lotto took place on Sunday night last at Bingo. The numbers drawn were: 4-5-7-29. There was one winner of the jackpot. This was Judy Dunne Tullamore and she receives €16,600. We had 8 match 3’s who receive €20 each. These were: Stephen Deehan, M Egan, Teresa Nestor, Jacinta Stones, Paul & Dean c/o Paul Rabbette, Graham Grennan, The Fleming Family Kilcoursey and Roger Stanley.

Next weeks’ jackpot is €4,000 and the draw will be held at Bingo on Sunday 17^th April.

Lotto Winner

We would like to congratulate Judy Dunne on winning the lotto jackpot of €16,600. This was the biggest jackpot ever won in the Clara GAA Lotto.

Blood Donation Clinic

The Blood Donation Clinic will take place in the GAA Centre on Monday 18th April from 3pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9.30pm. This is important as there are 3000 pints of blood needed every week in Ireland for vital operations.

Clara Musical Society

Clara GAA Club would like to wish Clara Musical Society the best of luck in the running of their upcoming show – ‘9 to 5’. This show will be held from 12^th to 16^th April starting at 8pm each night. It will be held in the Clara GAA Centre.
