Dinner Dance
We held our Dinner Dance on Saturday night last in the GAA Centre. The hall looked fantastic on the night and we would like to thank Margaret Naughton for making the hall look so good. We presented our Minor Footballers and Junior Hurlers with their county medals, which were presented by Kilkenny hurling legend Tommy Walsh. We would like to thank Tommy for giving up his time to come down to Clara. He was very approachable on the night and a lot of people took the opportunity to have their photo taken with him. We would like to thank everyone who helped with the organization of the night. We would like to thank The Mill for doing the food. As always the food from The Mill was very good. We would like to thank Dolans Bar for supplying the bar. We would like to thank the band, The Vows. The music they played was brilliant and they made sure that it was a night to remember.
Registration Night
A registration night for all underage players will take place on Wednesday 16th March in the Clara GAA Social Centre from 7pm-9pm.
Lotto Results
The draw for the weekly club lotto took place on Sunday night last at Bingo. The numbers drawn were: 6-11-24-27. There was no winner of the jackpot. We had 3 match 3’s who receive €50 each. These were: Jackie McGovern, Phillip Fleming and Geraldine Barlow.
Next weeks’ jackpot is €15,750 and the draw will be held at Bingo on Sunday 6thMarch.
Clara GAA Car Stickers
Clara GAA Car Stickers for 2016 are now available from any member of the committee. The cost of a sticker is €5 and all proceeds collected through this venture will go towards underage development.
