Congratulations to our Ballad Group who won the Leinster semi-final on Saturday night. They now progress onto the Leinster final on Sunday the 29th of March in Ballymore. The Ballad group repersent Clara GAA Club with pride and we wish Paul Scanlon, John Scanlon, Collette Rabbette, Ashling Cornally Maura Eivers and  their coach Nora Heneghan Kavanagh the very best of luck in the final. Clara GAA club is immensly proud of our Ballad group and we wish them every success in the final.

Division 1 Football

Clara welcomed over our neighbours Shamrocks on Friday evening in round 4 of the division 1 football league. In a very tough and entertaining game, Clara came away with the points despite going down to 14 men for the final 20 minutes. The final score was Clara 0-10 Shamrocks 0-07. The Clara team was: James Kinahan, Richie Slammon, Gary Collins, Martin Fleming, Bobby Mitchell, Lorcan Hiney (0-1), Andrew Cushen, Ross Brady, David Ledwith, John O Hara, Stephen Deehan (0-5 2f), Alan Gavin (0-1), David Fleming (0-2), Barry Cushen, John Reynolds (0-1 1f)

Table Quiz

On Monday 16^th of March Clara GAA club will be holding a table quiz to raise funds for our underage games development. The quiz will be held in The Mill at 9.30pm. It will be a general knowledge quiz but there will also be a round of questions on Clara GAA and a round of questions on Clara general knowledge. The cost is €20 for a team of four. All support would be greatly appreciated and all money raised will be put back into underage development within the club.

Weekly Lotto

Results from Sunday 1^st March

The numbers drawn were 3-5-8-15. There was no Jackpot winner. We had three match three winners who received €50 each. They were Ella, Meadbh, Abbie and Oisin Coyne, Kelley & Glenn and Shirley Coughlan. Next week’s Jackpot is €7,850 and the draw will be held in The GAA Centre on Sunday 15^th of March.
