Under 21 Football Championship- Quarter Final
Clara played Tullamore Óg on Friday night in Clara and lost on a score line of 0-13 to 1-03. The Clara team was Mark Fallon, Dermot Doolan, Martin Fleming, Gavin Carroll, George Robbins, Carl Stewart, Alan Gavin, Willy Fleming, Leon Taylor, Colin Gavin, David Falsey, Callum Stewart, Steven Buckley (0-1), Darren Fleming, Luke Kelly (0-2, 2f)

Changes to Clara GAA Lotto
From Sunday 8th of February our weekly GAA lotto will move from our traditional Saturday night to Sunday night where it will be held along with the Bingo in the GAA Social centre. Tickets will still be on sale in the usual outlets, in the town on Saturday evenings and at the Bingo on a Sunday night. The draw will be held during the bingo and winners will be announced at the break.
We would like to thank all of the public houses in the town who accommodated and supported our lotto draw over the past 21 years. It is greatly appreciated.
2015 U8 Indoor Hurling League
The indoor league starts on Tues 3rd Feb for 6 weeks culminating with the finals for the Tom Naughton, Ber Cowen and Tommy Dolan Cup. On this night all players must arrive at 6.45pm to get their team jersey and have photos taken (check Post Office or GAA social centre window for teams & match times on weekend of 30th Jan ). Indoor hurls & helmets will be provided (bring helmet if you have one). All players must wear shin guards, runners and tracksuit bottoms. Parents must stay for the hour and all children must remain seated in the balcony area for safety reasons. NO EXCEPTIONS. Anyone who has a cup from last year please leave into school to Conor Doyle. Underage Presentation Night
On Friday 6th of February, in the GAA Social centre, we will mark what was a successful 12 months for our underage gaels. We have medals to present to our successful under 14 hurlers who won both their league and championship, our under 16 footballers who had a terrific year winning the ‘A’ Championship and the Division 1 league and our minor footballers who captured their Division 1 League title also. All support for these lads would be greatly appreciated. There will be food and music on the night.
We are also delighted to welcome six-time All-Ireland winner and four-time All-Star Darragh O’Sé to present the medals to the players.
Membership
Membership for 2015 is now due and can be paid to any committee member.
Yearly Lotto
Yearly Lotto subscriptions are now available. The cost is €75 euro and you are entered into every draw for the coming year. You can renew or give your numbers and your payment to any committee member.
Weekly Lotto
Results from Saturday 31st of January
The numbers drawn were 3-7-10-20. There was no Jackpot winner. We had six match three winners who received €25 each. They were grace & Emily, Peter Dunican (Pullough), Martin Bracken, Anne Claffey, Liz Hughes and Emma Guilfoyle. Next week’s Jackpot is €7,100 and the draw will be held in The GAA Centre on Sunday 8th February.

Blood Donation Clinic
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will have their blood donation clinic in the GAA Centre on Tuesday 17th of February from 3pm – 5pm and from 7pm to 9.30pm
