Leinster Special Junior Hurling Championship – Final
Clara played Wolfe Tones of Longford on Sunday in the final of the Leinster Junior Special Hurling Competition and won on a score line of 2-18 to 0-05. Played in Tubber, Clara always seemed to be in control and led by 1-9 to 0-2 at half time, with the goal coming from Thomas Deehan. Clara kept up their dominance in the second half and with Thomas adding another goal we ran out very deserving winners on the day.
The club would like to sincerely thank Tubber Gaa for the use of their facilities which were in brilliant condition. We would like to thank all the players and the management team of Ger Deehan, Seanie Monagahan and Enda Stones for the effort they put in all year.

Under 16 FootballLeague Semi Final

Clara played Ballycumber/Tubber on Friday night in the semi final of the U16 Football League. Played in Clara, Clara won on a scoreline of 3-13 to 2-05 having been 2-07 to 1-03 up at half time. 130^th Anniversary Celebrations
Clara GAA club will be marking its 130^th year this year and to mark the occasion we are having a celebratory night in the GAA Social Centre on Saturday the 13^th of December at 9.30pm. On the night we will also be honouring the members of the Clara Junior Hurling team of 1983 that were successful in that year’s Junior Championship. There will also be a Christmas party atmosphere on the night with refreshments and entertainment by Mercury followed by a disco.


Christmas Fair
There will be a Christmas Fair held in the GAA centre on Saturday 6^th of December from 10am to 6pm. There will be plenty of stalls with lovely gifts for family and friends for Christmas. Santa will be there on the day and the Clara Town Band and Parish Choir will provide entertainment throughout the day. All are welcome to come and have a look around.

AGM
The Clara GAA AGM will be held on Monday 15^th of December in the GAA centre at 8pm. All members are asked to attend.

National Club Draw

Tickets are currently on sale for the GAA National Club Draw. 100% of all money collected goes back into the club and there are some great prizes to be won. Tickets are available from any committee member.
