LOTTO
The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 09 June were 02 03 10 28. There was no Jackpot Winner of €7,800 and 1 Match 3 Winner [Nicola Feery C/O T Feery] {€400]. Next week’s draw will take place in High Chaparel, Geashill on Monday 23 June 2014.
DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers secured top place in the group stage of the Div 2 League as they scraped to a 1 point win over Bracknagh in the final round last Tuesday week in Geashill on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-11 which puts them through to a semi final against Daingean. Raheen opened the scoring with the first 3 points but by the 10th min Bracknagh had got off the mark with their opening 3 points to draw level before going ahead with the next point. Then in the final 10 mins of the half both sides added 2 points apiece and so at the break Bracknagh led 0-06 to 0-05. Raheen turned it round at the start of the second half as they tagged on 5 points in a row inside the first 10 mins to take a clear lead and they appeared to be cruising but they would only hit 2 more points over the remainder of the game which were sandwiched between a double brace of points for Bracknagh This left 2 points in it as the game approached the end of normal time but Bracknagh then put over the final point in injury time. Fortunately the final whistle same before Bracnagh had time to push for the equaliser. DIVISION 3 HURLING LEAGUE
Raheen Hurlers take on Carrig & Riverstown in the Penultimate Round of the Div 3 League this Wednesday evening (18 June) @ 8PM in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.
DIVISION 4 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Junior Footballers will be looking for the win that will give them a chance of qualifying for the Div 4 League Semi Finals when they take on Bracknagh in the Final Round next Monday (23 June) @ 8PM in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated. MEMBERSHIP Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible but all membership must be paid immediately. Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Paddy Bracken or Padraig Direen. New members are very welcome.
