Indoor Hurling League 2014.

The final league games of the Tournament took place on Tuesday 4/3/14. These three games would prove to be the most exciting of the league, as there was so much at

stake.

WOODFIELD V AUGHAMORE.

This game was one of the best games played over all the years of the tournament. It was end to end stuff with great goals and no quarter asked or given.Best for

Aughamore were Jonah Devine Callum Gorman and Jimmy Sherlock. These are the younger members of the team who played as well as the usual suspects on the Team. The final

score was 6 goals each and a very fair result. This game also turned the team standings on their heads.Best for Woodfield were Lorcan Dalton Alex Kelly and Aaron

Bullseye Kelly who scored two screamers and had a goal ruled out which caused a near riot in the hall. Seamus Fleming the referee had to leave the building for a time

out. Result Woodfield 6 Aughamore 6.

KILBRIDE V KILCOURSEY.

The scoreline does this game no justice as it was end to end stuff and a game of the goalkeepers. Ben Melia, Rhys Johnson and Jack Devine stopped thunderbolts all

night. For Kilcoursey James Cullen marshalled the midfield with support from Jack Devine, Ciabhan Dunne and Luke Finn. But the star man for Kilcoursey was Dylan The

Hatchet Dunne with 3 great goals. For Kilbride Ben Melia had great support from Ryan Carroll and Evan Cronin with Tommy Molloy and Callum Heffernan causing havoc on the

wings. Result Kilbride 3 Kilcoursey 9.

BALLINOUGH V CLASHAWAUN

The final game of the night was a night for the Bookies with with Clashawaun led down the middle by Christian McKeown putting 6 unanswered goals past the highly

fancied Ballinough. Tempers flared in this one with Seamus Fleming having to be very vigilant for off the ball mayhem. It showed how much these two teams wanted

victory.Again it was the younger men on the team who hit top form for Clashawaun. Looby, Deehan/Kavanagh Mckenna and Phelan left their mark on many a ball and player.

These boys were backed up superbly by Dylan Minnock Kevin Gavin And Nathan Flattery.

So after checking points diff and scoring averages over the last few weeks the Finals are as follows

7 o clock. C FINAL, KILBRIDE V WOODFIELD

7.20 B FINAL, AUGHAMORE V BALLINOUGH

7.40 A FINAL, CLASHAWAUN V KILCOURSEY.
