LOTTO
The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday 03rd Feb were 13 16 26 27. There was no Jackpot Winner of €4,200 and No Match 3 Winner – Match 3 Prize Increased to €600 on Monday 10 Feb. Next week’s draw will take place in Maunsell’s, Tullamore on Monday 17th Feb 2014.
DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers got their 2014 playing campaign off to a winning start as they came out on top by the minimum margin against St Rynaghs in Rd 1 of the Div 2 League last Friday evening on a scoreline of 1-07 to 0-09. Trailing at halftime 0-04 to 0-02 Raheen went further behind early in the second half as St Rynaghs added 2 more points before Raheen came back tagging on 4 points to St Rynaghs 1 to leave Raheen trailing by just 1. Then St Rynaghs added 2 more points with less than 5 mins left which they tought would be enough but Raheen didn’t give and were rewarded in the final min when Richie Reynolds high ball in to the square was punched to the net by Paddy Arnold to draw level and in stoppage time Padraig Bracken put over a free from beyond the 45m line to steal the win.

DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
After making a winning start Raheen Intermediate Footballers will be looking to make it 2 wins out of 2 when they take on neighbours Walsh Island in Round 2 of the Div 2 League this Friday evening (14 Feb) @ 8pm in Geashill. All Support would be appreciated.
MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible but all membership must be paid by the end of February 2014. Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Paddy Bracken or Padraig Direen. New members are very welcome.
MOUTH-GUARDS
A very important reminder to all players at ALL levels in the Club – From 1st Jan 2014 all players must wear a mouth-guard in all official Football training sessions and games. A players insurance is null and void if he fails to wear a guard. The club expect 100% compliance.

SENIOR CITIZEN PASS
Any Club Member who would like to obtain a Senior Citizen Pass (Cost €5) for games throughout the county please contact club chairman John Hackett for application form.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Raheen GAA Club Committee Meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month. If any member as any issues or concerns that they would like to be addressed by the club please pass these on to any Committee Member before the next meeting.
