Ard Scoil Chiarain

Ard Scoil Chiarain Junior Footballers qualified for the Leinster Semi Final last week when they defeated Banagher in Clara on a score line of 2-15 to 4-5. The Ard Scoil team and scorers were: Aaron Touhey, Conor Murray, Nathan Bracken, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Ciaran Doyle, Callum Egan, Conor Egan, Stephen Buckley, Seamus O’Brien, Gary Kelly, Mark Newman, Josh McCloskey, Josh Fleming, George Robbins and David Dunne. Subs: Kieran Hartnett for G Kelly, Sean Tierney for G Robbins and Jack Handy for J McCloskey

Leinster Semi Final

Ard Scoil now play St. Olivers Drogheda next Monday in the Leinster Semi Final. At the time of writing the Venue and Time had yet to be decided.

 

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO

Lotto results 25/1/14 Numbers drawn were 6-12-13-28. There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. There was 1 match 3 winner and this was Noel Gavin who receives €150, well done. Next weeks draw is for €5,150 and takes place in Dolans at 10pm on Saturday night. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.

 

Membership

Membership for the year 2014 is now due and can be paid to any member of the committee. Associate/Walker membership for 2014 will now be the lower price of €15. Membership can be attained for above from any member of the committee and must be paid before using the facilities. All other membership rates are the same as 2013.

2014 Indoor Hurling League

There will be training in the GAA Social Centre on Tuesday 28th Jan with U7 from 6.30-7.30 and U8 7.30-8.30.The league commences Tues 4th Feb at 6:45 sharp for 6 weeks culminating with the 3 finals for the Tom Naughton Cup, Ber Cowen Cup and Tommy Dolan Cup.

Yearly Lotto Subscription

The yearly lotto subscription of €75 is now due and this can be paid to any member of the committee. The new numbers will come into effect from Saturday 15th February.

Mentors and Selectors

 Anyone looking to become a mentor or selector for the year 2014 please contact any member of the committee. t
