Annual General Meeting

Clara GAA club held its Annual General Meeting last Monday 6th January in the Convent, with one of the largest attendances in over 25 years which is a very positive sign for the future of our club. WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO

Lotto results 11/1/14- Numbers drawn were 7-8-22-23. There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. There was one match 3 winner and this was Carmel Farrell Tinnycross Tullamore who receives €150, well done. .Next weeks draw is for €4,850 and takes place in Cowens at 10pm on Saturday night. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.

 

CLARA GAA SUPPORTER 2014 WINDOW STICKER

Our official 2014 supporter window stickers are now available to purchase from any committee member. Ideal for the car or house/business window, it gives us the chance to show we are behind our club all year long. It costs €10 and all funds raised will go to development of our teams. It proudly displays our black and white crest with the words 2014 SUPPORTER, the must have tag for all of Clara GAA. When will you get yours??

Membership

Membership for the year 2014 is now due and can be paid to any member of the committee. Associate/Walker membership for 2014 will now be the lower price of €15. Membership can be attained for above from any member of the committee and must be paid before using the facilities. All other membership rates are the same as 2013.

Yearly Lotto Subscription

The yearly lotto subscription of €75 is now due and this can be paid to any member of the committee.

Offaly GAA Awards

The club would like to congratulate our new Chairman Brian Gavin on receiving the “Hurling Referee of the Year” for the fourth consecutive year and his eight in total. Congratulations are extended to all award winners on the night.

National Draw

There is a National Draw been run by the GAA to help clubs raise funds. Clubs will keep 100% of what they raise. The price of a ticket for this draw is €10. The draw will take place on St. Patricks Day in Croke Park at the All Ireland Club Finals. The prizes are as follows. 1stTrip for two to the International Rules Series in Austrailia 2014, 2nd Tickets for 2 to the All Ireland Football Final 2014 All Star Banquet and Tour Tickets to Boston, 3rd 2 Corporate Box Concert Tickets with pre-concert hospitality in Croke Park in 2014, 4th Travel Voucher to the value of €1500, 5th 2 Corporate box tickets for All Ireland Football Final 2014, Corporate Hospitality and 2 night’s accommodation, 6th 2 Corporate box tickets for All Ireland Hurling Final 2014, Corporate Hospitality and 2 night’s accommodation, 7th Shopping voucher to the value of €1000 at a retailer of your choice, 8th 2 Premium tickets for both the All Ireland Football and Hurling Finals 2014 with overnight accommodation at both, 9th 2 Croke Park Premium Concert Tickets in 2014, 10th Trip for 2 to New York for St. Patricks Day 2015 with 3 nights accommodation.
