G.A.A CLUB NOTES

LOTTO
The numbers drawn in the Lotto draw which took place on Monday (09th December) were 01 09 10 12. There was no Jackpot Winner of €2,800 and 3 Match 3 Winners [Larry Reilly C/O Mary Dolan; Laura Brophill C/O Mary Brophill; Lena Casey C/O Doyle’s] [€135 Each]. Please Note next week’s draw will be the Christmas Lotto draw and will take place in Maunsell’s (White House) on SUNDAY 22nd December at 6:00pm.
CLUB AGM
There was a large turnout at the AGM of Raheen GAA which took place last Friday 13th December in the clubhouse Geashill . There were many issues discussed and agreed upon. The following officers were elected : Chairman – John Hackett; Vice Chairman – Niall Carthy ; Secretary – Eddie Kaye ; Ass Secretary – Padraig Direen; Treasurer – Owenie Connor ; Ass Treasurer – Matthew O’Byrne ; PRO – Ray Garry ; Membership Officers: Paddy Bracken & Padraig Direen; County Board Delegates: John Hackett & Ray Garry; Joint Club Presidents: Sean Carthy & Malachy Bolton. The following Committee members were also elected: Ger Plunkett, Liam Boland Jnr, John Garry, Pauric Pierce, Mariena Corcoran, P J Corcoran, Declan Costello, Brendan Byrne, & Sean Carthy, Intermediate Football Captain, Junior Football Captain & Hurling Captain.
MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible but all membership must be paid by the end of February 2014. Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Paddy Bracken or Padraig Direen. New members are very welcome.
FESTIVE FOOTBALL CHALLENGE
Raheen GAA Club are organising a Festive Fun Challenge Football Game involving players from the club past and present on St Stephen’s Day at 12 NOON in the GAA Field, Geashill. Refresments served afterwards. All are invited to attend.
