WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO
Lotto results 14/12/13- Numbers drawn were 4,15,22,28. There was no winner of the Jackpot this week but 5 matched 3, they are Joe Power, Billy Reynolds, Tracey McGrath, Declan Fallon and Margaret Rock all from Clara who all win €30 each well done. .Next weeks draw is for €4,250 and takes place in Cowens at 10pm. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.

SCHOOLS FOOTBALL
Ard Scoil Chiarain defeated Mullingar C.S. on Wednesday last in Mullingar in the North Leinster Juvenile Football Final to defend the title they won last year. This is a 13 a side competition and the Ard Scoil Team and Scorers were: Aaron Touhey, Mark Doorley, Conor Murray, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Ciaran Doyle(0-1), Gary Kelly(0-1), Conor Egan(0-4), Dean Reynolds, Nathan Bracken(2-2), Jack Myers, Mark Newman(0-2) and James Moran(1-0). Subs: Ronan Newman for J Myers and Rory Dunne for D Reynolds
CLARA GAA AGM 2014
Our AGM date has now been fixed for Monday January 6th for an 8pm start in the convent. All members are welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing you there.
CLARA GAA DISCO
On Saturday December 21st we will be having 2 discos in the social centre, our first one is for under 11s from 6pm to 8pmand our second disco is for for over 12s and runs from 8.30 to 11.30. It is well supervised and a great safe place for your child to socialise, Eamon and Joe will run the sweet shop as usual and no children will be allowed leave the hall once they arrive. Cost of entry is €5. DJ Killian ,with help from Alex Roe and Eoin Dunne, will be in control of the music.
Every person who attends the monster bingo, a disco or buys a supporters sticker between now and December 21st will be put into a draw to win one of 2 autographed One Direction CDs. Both copies are signed by all members of the band so it would make an ideal surprise present for Christmas. Please tell your friends about this promotion as we would love to see genuine fans get their hands on the CDs. Best of luck and thanks again for your continued support.
MICHAEL SHERIDAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
Clara GAA club will hold an Appreciation night for Michael Sheridan who has announced that he will retire as Chairman of the club at the next AGM.
Michael has been involved in every aspect of the Clara GAA club and is retiring as Chairman of the Club after 50 years of voluntary service to the Clara GAA committee.
Michael has also been actively involved with the Clara GAA club as a player, manager and selector with many of our club teams, and as a referee and his contribution to Scór is widely acknowledged.
This is an opportunity for friends of Clara GAA club to acknowledge the magnificent contribution Michael has made to our Club and we welcome you and your family to attend on the night.
The Appreciation night will be held in the Clara GAA centre on Saturday 28th December at 9 pm and a buffet meal with music and full bar facilities will be provided on the night.
A €5 admission fee will be collected at the door to cover the costs for the night. Looking forward to seeing you and your friends there.
