Clara GAA Club Notes Aug 26th
ALL-IRELAND HURLING FINAL FUNDRAISER
Clara GAA club are running an All-Ireland Hurling Final ‘Guess the Score’ competition between now and Sunday, September 8th. We are hoping to build much needed dugouts in Pairc Phrionsias and funds are badly needed to achieve this. The cards contain 12 guess slots at €2 each or €20 for completed card. There will be prizes for the correct score and for completed cards, as we may hopefully have some involvement in the day we ask that all members and GAA supporters get behind this fundraiser in any way they can.

DIVISION 1 SENIOR FOOTBALL
Clara defeated Ferbane in Ballycumber on Sunday evening in the Division 1 Football League Semi Final on a score line of 0-13 to 0-12. The Clara team was: Kevin Meehan, Deasun Baggot, David Ledwith, Bob Mitchell, Liam Monaghan, Scott Brady, Lorcan Hiney, Matthew Mitchell, Ross Brady, Darren Kelly(0-1), John Reynolds(0-2), Graham Guilfoyle(0-3), Barry Cushen(0-1), Stephen Deehan(0-4, 0-3frees) and John O’Hara(0-2). Subs: Joe Quinn for M Mitchell, Stephen O’Brien for J O’Hara, Caomhan Sheridan for J Reynolds and Paul Mitchell for D Kelly
WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO
Lotto results 24/8/13- Numbers drawn were 13,14,19,30. There was no winner of the Jackpot this week but 1 matched 3 and that was Theresa Devery who wins €150 , well done. .Next weeks draw is for 3,350 euro and takes place in The Mill at 10pm. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.
