Clara GAA Table Quiz and Prediction Cards

Clara GAA held a quiz on Friday night last in Baggots to support the players fund and a huge turnout on the night resulted in a great night being had by all. We wish to thank all who supported the night especially Aaron Baggot, Padraig O’Meara, PJ Rickard, Brian Gavin and all the Adult management teams and players.

Clara Bord na Nog ran a prediction card draw for the last month and all cards were returned. Running this involved a huge effort on behalf of the sellers and we know those that bought the cards enjoyed filling them in. We will be posting leaderboards as the year goes on. Many thanks must go to Kevin Roe, Orla Dolan, and the committee for making this a huge success.

All-Ireland Finals day in Croke Park

St. Patricks Day saw a huge Offaly contingent head up to Croke Park to support Kilcormac/Killoughey in the All-Ireland Hurling Club Final. Unfortunately the result went against them but no doubt they will be back. It was wonderful to see the passion and noise that comes with Offaly support in Croke Park and hopefully there will be many more days ahead for Offaly on the big stage.

Monster Bingo

There will be a monster bingo on Sunday March 31st in the GAA social centre. There will €4,500 in prize money to be won and we look forward to seeing you there.

Clara St.Patricks Day Parade

The days celebrations began with a joined effort with the tidy towns when our Bord na Nog committee and underage players did a litter pick throughout the town. Thanks to all in helping us get the town looking great for the day. When the parade got underway it was great to see the huge turnout of boys and girls walking with their mentors.
