Juvenile Cups: The Joe Dooley and Rigney Cup competitions will be played on Saturday, November 24 in Rath commencing at 12 noon. This year the format has changed and will be run among our U-14 and U-16 teams as a 7-a-side tournament. This is a great opportunity to come and support our local talent and view the skill and determination which these young players displayed during the year to reach two County Finals. All support would be greatly appreciated, and anyone wishing to assist the days events please contact Joe Troy or Micheal Carroll.

Congratulations: Congratulations to Kilcormac/Killoughey on their win over Mount Leinster Rangers of Carlow in the first round of the Leinster Club Senior Hurling Championship. They now face Laois champions Rathdowney Errill on November 18.

Coaching: The club is hoping to run a foundation coaching course in Rath for anyone interested in doing so. As well as giving the opportunity for those who want to get involved with some of the club’s juvenile teams, it is also just an opportunity for all parents to be able to enjoy coaching and helping their children at home. A certain number is required to run the course in Rath. Anyone who is interested should contact Joe Troy on 087 2794541.

Sympathy: Drumcullen GAA Club extends sympathies to the O’Leary Family, Thomastown and Carroll Family, Templemore on recent bereavements. We also remember our deceased members during the month of November. May they Rest in Peace.
