Junior A Football Championship

Clara beat Kilcormac/K 2-13 to 0-14 in the Junior A Football Championship last weekend.

Opening Day Programme

Anybody wishing to purchase a souvenir programme for the opening day of the new pitch please contact any member of the committee. The price of a programme is 3 Euro plus postage.

Sponsor a Sod

You can sponsor a sod for 20 Euro. This will help with the development of the field. Anyone wishing to sponsor a sod please contact any member of the committee.

G.A.A. Cul Camp

The G.A.A. Cul Camp is taking place in Clara from 2^nd to 6^th July. The camp is designed to cater for 2^nd to 6^th class pupils, but provisions can be made for a child in 1^st class (only) who is participating in Gaelic games in their local club, and would feel comfortable in such an environment.

The Cul Camp will be held each day, Monday to Friday from 10.00a.m. to 2.30p.m. The cost is €55 for the 1^st child, €45 for the 2^nd child, and €40 for the 3^rd and subsequent children. See promotional packs and book online at www.kellogsculcamps.gaa.ie

U14 HURLING

Clara U14 hurlers had a busy week last week between taking part in the national football feile they also had a championship hurling match against Shinrone on Tuesday evening. Clara emerged the winners on the night against a young Shinrone team. On Sunday morning they lads played a hurling challenge game against our Feile visitors from O’Donovan Rossa, based in Belfast. This was a skilful and enjoyable encounter which saw the Belfast club win out on the morning and is very encouraging for the boys from Antrim.

Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 23/06/2012 -There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 6-9-21-28. There were 7 match 3 winners. They were C Roche, D Maloney, K Bracken, L Mulhollhand, F Hall and Roisin & Fiare. Next weeks lotto takes place in Cowan’s and the Jackpot is €2150. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
