Junior A Football Championship

Clara played Tullamore last Monday and won on a score line of 1-9 to 0-10. Division 1 Football League

Clara lost to Shamrocks last Wednesday night in Mucklagh on a score line of 2-8 to 0-11. The Clara team was: James Kinahan, Deasun Baggot, Gary Collins, Darren Kelly, John Ledwith, Matthew Mitchell(0-2,0-1 45), Enda Dunne(0-1), Scott Brady, Joe Quinn(0-1), Alan Cronin, Stephen Deehan(0-4, 0-1 free), John O’Hara(0-2), Joey Deehan, Kiearn O’Meara, Barry Cushen(0-1). Sub: Andrew Cushen for J Deehan.

Division 3 Football League

Clara defeated Ballinagar on a score line of 2-13 to 1-8 on Friday night in Clara. The Clara team was: Wayne Flanagan, Michael Mitchell, Sean Nolan, Liam Monaghan, Callam Stewart(0-1), John Flattery, Andrew Cushen, Kiearn O’Meara(0-1), Stephen O’Brien(0-2), Adam Scanlon (0-2), Pa Smith (0-2), Nigel Monaghan (1-0), Sam Rickard (0-2), Darren Scanlon (1-1) and Gavin Dolan (0-1). Car Wash Fundraiser.

A car wash fundraiser will take place at The Convent, Pairc Phroinsias, Clara on Saturday morning 9^th June between 10.00a.m. and 1.00p.m.

The proceeds of all cars washed by the Clara Under 14 Football team will go to the club to help finance the team taking part in The All Ireland Football Feile on the week end of 22^nd to 24^th June.

We invite all parents and supporters of Clara G.A.A. Club to get their cars washed on the day. Cost is €10, to include a breakfast roll for the car driver. All cars washed will be supervised by the team management.

Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 16/05/2012 -There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1-8-23-24. There were 2 match 3’s. They were: Joe Bracken and Liam, Laura & Aoife Doyle. Next weeks lotto takes place in Doc’s and the Jackpot is €4250. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
