Opening Day

Clara GAA will be holding the official opening of our new pitch in
Kilcoursey on Sunday 20th May 2012. The main event on the day will be a
hurling challenge match between Offaly and the reigning All Ireland
Champions Kilkenny. The official opening will be performed by the incoming
president of the GAA Liam O’Neill. The will be a host of other activities
held throughout the day to cater for all ages.

Fixtures

Saturday 31st March: U21 Football Championship Vs Wheery in Ferbane at
5pm.
Sunday 1st April: Div 1 Football League Vs St. Brigids in Clara at 6pm
Sunday 1st April: Div 3 Football League Vs
Clonmore Harps in Clonmore at 12Noon

Membership for the year 2012 is now due. Membership for the following year

Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 24/03/2012 -There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto
jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3-15-23-26. There were 2 match 3’s. They
were: T Deehan and Beenie Mannion. Next weeks lotto takes place in Baggots
and the Jackpot is €2900. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to
all our ticket sellers.

Scór

The club would like to congratulate The Senior Ballad Group on winning the
Leinster Final in Ballymore. The members are: John and Paul Scanlon,
Collette Rabbitte, Maura Eivers and Aisling Cornally. Their mentor is Nora
Kavanagh.

Disco

Carl James will be hosting a disco on Tuesday 3rd April in the Clara GAA
Centre. More details can be found on Carl James Facebook Page.

Feile

There will be an U14 hurling feile blitz held in Clara on Saturday next the
31st March. The blitz will start at 10.15am and the teams involved are
Clara, St. Rynaghs, Na Fianna and Tullamore.

Work Nights

Our development of the GAA Grounds in Kilcoursey is nearing completion.
There are some small jobs still to be done, i.e. Painting etc. Volunteers
who have some time to spare are asked to be in the Convent from 6.30pm to
8.30pm on a Monday evening.

Work day Saturday 10-1 for opening of pitch on 20th may. Bring a spade or a
paint brush.

Monster Bingo

Clara will be holding a Monster Bingo on Easter Sunday
