Raheen GAA Club notes 14th Feb

CLUB FUNDRAISER
Raheen GAA Club are organising a Fundraising Buster Night at the Dogs in Mullingar Greyhound Stadium on this Saturday 18th Feb 2012. Tickets costing €10 each are now on sale from any Committee Member. The ticket entitles admission on the night with racecard and has a unique 6 number combination with the holder of the ticket that matches the 6 dog result of the Buster Race on the night winning €500 but the ticket holder does not need to present on the night to claim the prize. There will also be buses going to Mullingar from both Cloneygowan and Geashill on the evening and returning home shortly after the last race for a nominal charge of €5.  Anybody interested in availing of the bus please give your name to club secretary Eddie Kaye (Phone 086 0757679). Please try and support.

LOTTO
The numbers drawn in Monday [06th Feb 2012] night’s Lotto were 11 21 22 28. There was no Jackpot Winner of €5,000 and 1 Match 3 Winner [Rachel Dohney C/O James Condron] [€200 Each]. Next week’s draw will take place in Doyle’s, Killeigh  on Monday 20th Feb 2012.

DIVISION 3 HURLING LEAGUE
Raheen Hurlers opening Div 3 League fixture against Coolderry due to take place last Sunday morning was postponed to a later date following a request from Coolderry.

DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers continue their playing campaign this Saturday afternoon (18th Feb) @ 2:30pm as they travel to take on Rhode Seniors in Rhode in Round 2 of the Div 1 Football League. All support would be appreciated.

MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible but all membership must be paid by the end of January 2012. This year there are 2 membership options. Option 1 includes entry in our weekly club lotto draw and Subscriptions are Playing Members €120, Students/ OAP’s & Non Playing Members €110. Option 2 is the same as previous years and Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Shane Carroll, Padraig Direen or Craig O’Halloran. New members are very welcome.
