Mid Ireland Tourism Enjoys Great Success At Holiday World

Last weekend at Holiday World Dublin, Mid Ireland Tourism displayed their new 2012 Visitors Guide for the first time promoting the counties of Offaly, Tipperary, Westmeath, East Galway, Laois & Longford.
The Manager of Mid Ireland Tourism, Peter Ormond stated that there was great interest in their stand at Holiday World and in what the Mid Ireland Region had to offer. Tourism is one of the areas of growth in the Midlands and it is important that the Midlands of Ireland continue to work together to promote the region.
Speaking at Holiday World, Peter Ormond stated that the Mid Ireland Region offers an array of breathtaking inland scenery with large tracks of bogland, rolling hills, meandering waterways and a wonderful tapestry of Irish farmland and forestry. Its central location allows ease of access to and from all parts of Ireland also making it an ideal base for touring anywhere in Ireland
