Tullamore Toastmasters Competition Night

Members of the Tullamore Toastmasters club enjoyed an eruptive night of laughter at last Thursdays meeting as the humorous speech competition took place. Members were warmed up before the speeches with a diverse range of thought-provoking topics. Participating in the humorous speech competition was Fionnuala Galvin with her speech entitled ‘Swiss Precision’ and Patrick Hynes   with his Speech entitled ‘Brownie and Me’.

Also taking place at last Thursday nights meeting was the table topics competition won by Gerard Cleary.

Both Gerard and Fionnula travelled to Longford last Sunday to represent the Tullamore club in the Area competition. Both members did their club proud at Longford with Fionnula coming second with her speech.

Our next Toastmasters meeting takes place in the Tullamore  Court Hotel this Thursday 27th October at 8:30. As always the Tullamore Toastmasters club welcomes new members. You can enjoy your first Toastmasters meeting as a spectator and there’s no pressure to speak so come along or bring a friend for support.
