Drumcullen GAA Club Notes 11th Oct 2011

All Star Nominee: Congratulations to Drumcullen Camogie captain Elaine Dermody who has been nominated for an All Star. Also nominated is Shinrone’s Michaela Morkan. Best of luck to both when the All Stars are presented.
Minor Camogie: Hard luck to the Drumcullen minors who lost out to Birr in the County Semi-Final last Saturday.
Leinster Camogie Championship: Best of luck to the Drumcullen Seniors who for the first time play in the Leinster Senior Club Championship this Saturday. They travel to Dublin to face Ballyboden St Enda’s.
AGM: AGM for 2011 will be held on Friday, December 2 at 8pm. All club members are requested to attend this important meeting. Nomination forms for the election officers are available from committee members or by emailing secretary.drumcullen.offaly@gaa.ie and should be submitted to Secretary Pamela Nugent, Rathure, Killyon, Birr, before November 8. All members of the club are entitled to submit nomination forms, however please note that consent of the person being nominated should be sought in advance. Motions for consideration for County Convention and Club AGM should be forwarded in writing to Secretary Pamela Nugent, Rathure, Killyon, Birr, Offaly or by emailing secretary.drumcullen.offaly@gaa.ie on or before Wednesday, October 26.

Lotto: Numbers drawn were 9, 13, 15 and 26. No jackpot winner. Three match 3s winners were Danny Maher; Conor Murray; Siobhan Smyth. Promoter’s Prize  Peadar Nugent. Next week’s Jackpot €4,450.
