With a prize fund of €4000 including a top prize of €1500 cash, free equipment rental, post production studio time and a guaranteed slot in the 2012 Galway Film Fleadh this is a prestigious competition and one that should not be missed.
This festival will host workshops by industry professionals such as Script writing with Steven Goldsmith, Producing a Low Budget Feature Film with Conor Barry and RED Camera Introduction with John Leahy. These professionals are present at the festival not only to present valuable workshops but also to act as mentors to the short filmmakers. But the help doesn’t end there; equipment, facilities, location and a volunteer database will be made available to participating teams.
