Drumcullen GAA Club Notes 12th Sept

JHC: The Junior Hurlers missed out on a place in the quarter-finals of the championship after a defeat at the hands of Shinrone last week and K/K’s surprise win over previously unbeaten Killeigh. The results left Drumcullen level on points with Seir Kieran in fourth place in the table but despite having a better score difference, Drumcullen lost out on the head to head between the sides.

Lotto: Numbers drawn were 6, 11, 12 and 26. No jackpot winner. Three match 3 winners who each receive €50 were Eimear & Toni Ryan, Alan Franks, Noel Cashin. Next week’s Jackpot is €3,850.

Camoige: Congratulations to the Drumcullen Senior Camogie team who are back in the County Final after a good win over Birr on Saturday afternoon. It was a fine team performance and they will now face Shinrone in the decider.

Table Quiz: The Camogie Club are running a Table Quiz in Kavanagh’s, Killyon on Friday starting at 9.30pm.

U-12: The Drumcullen U-12 team finished their campaign with a fine win over Seir Kieran in Rath last Wednesday. This relatively young team has progressed well during the year and is a credit to their dedicated management team.

Lotto Rota: Team 5 (Peter Lyons’ team) is on duty this weekend.

Field Rota: Team 5 (Brendan Hynes’ team) is on duty this weekend.
