Drumcullen GAA Club

Fixtures: It’s a busy time on the field for the club this coming week with a host of games down for decision, three of them at home, and all assistance and support would be greatly appreciated.

On Friday the Junior C Football Championship begins when Drumcullen welcome Walsh Island to Rath at 7.30pm.

There are two games on Sunday. In the Division 1 HL, Drumcullen face Lusmagh in a relegation play-off in Birr at 12pm while that evening the Junior A Hurling Championship gets underway as Drumcullen host Killeigh in a vital opening game at 7.30pm.

Then on Wednesday next (June 29) Drumcullen begin their Junior C Hurling Championship campaign again at home to Killeigh at 7.30pm.

County Board Tickets: Thanks again to all who supported the club by purchasing €100 tickets for the County Board Draw.

Result: Div 1 HL- Belmont 1-17 Drumcullen 2-14.

Golf Classic: The club’s Annual Golf Classic takes place on July 1 in Birr Golf Club. This has become one of the highlights of the year and with music on the night it promises to be another great event. The golf classic is one of the main fundraising activities and all support particularly in the current economic crisis is greatly appreciated. Golf team of four including dinner €200; Hole sponsorship €100; Tee box sponsorship €50.
