Weekly Club Lotto
Weekly Lotto 7/05/2011-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 12-13-14-16. There were five match three winners and they were Teresa Devery, Frank, Joe, Katy c/o The Mill, Ber and Leo c/o Careys, Chris Mannion and Kathleen Quinlan. Next weeks lotto takes place in The Cowens and the Jackpot is €2450. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
Intermediate Hurling Championship
We played our second game in this years championship last Wednesday night on a very wet and windy night made hurling difficult. Playing against the elements in the first half we trailed by 2-7 to 0-5, the concession of 2 goals didn’t help our cause. We had our chances in the 2nd half but we failed to take them and Ballinamere held on for their victory. This nevertheless was a very good performance by a very young team. Senior Football Championship
Clara lost to Gracefield on Sunday evening in Killeigh on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-8. The Clara team was: Kevin Meehan, John Ledwith, Joe Quinn, Darren Kelly, Deasun Baggot, Peter Flanagan, Lorcan Hiney, Scott Brady, Ross Brady (0-2, 0-1 45), Paul Deehan (0-1), John Reynolds, Graham Guilfoyle, Kieran O’Meara, John O’Hara, Thomas Deehan (0-5, 0-4 Frees).
