Drumcullen GAA Club Notes
Lotto: Numbers drawn were 6, 9, 12, 19. No jackpot winner. Seven match 3 winners each receive €25. Sophie Moran, Catherine Bennett, Mary Rigney-Molloy, Adam Guinan, Niall Maher, Noel Molloy, Hugh Troy. Promoter’s Prize went to Catherine Troy. Jackpot next week will stand at €2,650.
Membership: Membership rates will remain the same as last year.
Presentation Night: The presentation night will take place in the County Arms, Birr on March 5.
Lotto Rota: Joe O’Brien’s team (Team 3) is on duty this weekend.
Field Rota: Declan Murray’s team (Team 4) is on duty this weekend.
Championship Draws: With the dust barely settled on the 2010 season, the focus is already on 2011 as the Championship draws have been made.
In the Senior Championship Drumcullen have been drawn with Coolderry, Kinnitty, Shinrone, Birr and Shamrocks.
In the Junior Championship, Drumcullen face a number of trips to the north of the county as they have been drawn alongside Edenderry, Raheen, Killeigh. Closer to home they will face Kilcormac/Killoughey and Clareen with Shinrone rounding off the group.
This year the County Board has decided to have a Junior C Hurling Championship and Drumcullen will play in this grade against Killavilla, Carrig & Riverstown, Kinnitty, Killeigh and Crinkle.
