Leinster JHC Final: The Leinster JHC Final against John Locke’s of Kilkenny which was postponed last weekend has been re-fixed for this Sunday in Rath with a throw-in time of 2pm. Despite the snow, the pitch would have been playable last weekend however road conditions in Kilkenny meant it was too dangerous for John Locke’s to travel and the Leinster Council took the decision to postpone the game on Sunday morning.

All assistance this Sunday in terms of helping with car parking and stewarding will be greatly appreciated.

Face painting for children will take place in the clubhouse from 12pm to 1.15pm on Sunday. Please arrive as early as possible to avoid a backlog as game time approaches.

The club have special ‘car window’ and ‘house’ flags available. This will be a very historic day for the club and everybody’s support from across the county is most welcome. Best of luck to all the players and management involved.

AGM: The club held its AGM last Friday and the following officers were elected. Lotto: Numbers drawn this week were 2, 23, 28 and 30. There was no Jackpot winner. Four match three winners each received €40 – Pat Gath c/o Deirdre Gath; Rita McLoughlin c/o John Brophy; Nellie Carroll c/o Rody Carroll; Shammy Nolan. Promoters Prize: Clement Spain. Next Jackpot: €5,200.
