Last year, bakers in Co.Offaly raised a wonderful €3,150 at their Great Irish Bake sales and we’re asking you to get on board once again this spring! This delicious campaign kneads everyone – at home, at work or in school – to get baking and help raise vital funds for Temple Street.
Great Irish Bake for Temple Street Hospital
As this year’s Ambassador, Mairead joined some Temple Street tots to officially kick off the campaign and inspire people all over Ireland to host a tasty fundraising bake sale in their local community or workplace.
Simply whip up a few buns, cakes, pies or desserts and invite your friends, neighbours, colleagues and loved ones to buy for goodness bake! You can organise whatever kind of bake sale whets your appetite – small or elaborate – it’s a piece of cake!
Every minute of every day, sick children arrive at Temple Street to be treated by our doctors and nurses. The funds raised at this year’s Great Irish Bake will fund the crucial equipment that helps heal our little patients and bring hope to worried families.

The Great Irish Bake for Temple Street
The Great Irish Bake is a national baking campaign – taking place on Friday, 20th April 2018 – that raises funds for sick children in Temple Street Children’s University Hospital. Now in its 9th year, the campaign encourages families, schools and businesses to raise funds for our wonderful hospital. In 2017, The Great Irish Bake raised an incredible €224,000 for Temple Street, helping to bring hope and healing to our little patients.
