Kildare Service Station Sells Its Second Big Winning Lottery Ticket
A Maxol Service Station in Co. Kildare has proven lightening can strike twice having sold its second big National Lottery prize in six months.
Lotto players in Co. Kildare are today being urged to check their tickets after last night’s Lotto draw produced a Lotto Plus 2 top prize winner of €250,000.
The winning Quick Pick selection ticket was sold at the Maxol Service Station yesterday (1st November) on the Sallins Road in Naas. In May the store sold a winning €1 million EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle ticket to a family who vowed to buy their dream home with their winnings.
Last night’s winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers are: 05, 10, 13, 28, 33, 43 and the Bonus 36.
A delighted store owner, Conor Sherry, said today: “With two life-changing lottery wins in the space of a couple of months, we are certainly proving to be a lucky charm for our customers. The store is situated in a busy residential area while we also have a lot of trade with the large multinational companies in the area. We will be celebrating the win in-store today and we’ll certainly be reminding all of our customers to check their tickets.”
Meanwhile, a National Lottery spokesperson has also confirmed that the search is still on for the winner(s) of last Wednesday’s (October 25th) €7.5 million Lotto jackpot on a ticket sold in Thurles. Co. Tipperary. “It has been a full week since the draw and we are eagerly waiting to hear from the lucky Tipperary ticketholders to make arrangements for them to collect their massive €7.5 million prize. If you are one of the ticketholders of these prizes, sign the back of your ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444,” they said.
