Registration Night

The Clara GAA Registration night will take place on Wednesday 16^th March in the GAA Social Centre from 7pm to 8pm.

Appreciation Night

An appreciation night will be held on Wednesday 16^th March in The Mill for everyone who helped out with Underage Football and Hurling during 2015.

Coaching 2016

Clara GAA Club will be running coaching courses along with first aid courses in both hurling and football for Foundation and Level 1 coaching. This is mandatory for all coaches to have this going forward at all levels. These courses will be run in the next 8-10 weeks and you can contact Brian Gavin (087-2411986) or any other committee member.

Lotto Results

The draw for the weekly club lotto took place on Sunday night last at Bingo. The numbers drawn were: 7-15-23-25. There was no winner of the jackpot. There were 7 Match 3 winners who receive €25 each and these were: Leo Tector, Peg Finn, Sheila Daly, Aisling Delaney, Nuala Kinahan, Kathleen Brazil and Maria c/o Dunicans Butchers.

Next weeks’ jackpot is €14,750 and the draw will be held at Bingo on Sunday 24^th January.

GAA National Draw

GAA National Draw tickets are available from any committee member. Fantastic prizes available and the cost is €10 per ticket.

U8 Indoor Hurling League 2016

Training starts Tuesday 28^th January and Tuesday 2^nd February at 6.30pm for Under 6 ½’s and 7.30pm for 1^st and 2^nd class U8’s. The league will start Tuesday the 9^th February at6.45pm for 6 weeks playing for the Tom Naughton Cup, The Ber Cowen Cup and The Tommy Dolan Cup. North Leinster Juvenile Football Final

Ard Scoil Chiarain played Mullingar CC on Friday last in the North Leinster Juvenile Football Final. It was a hard fought game and was close at half time but a couple of well taken goals in the second half enabled Clara to pull clear and in the end they won on a score line of 7-07 to 5-04. The club would like to thank Callum Stewart who has gone over to the school as a coach this year and the rest of the management team of Mr. Lynam, Mr. McConway, Mr. Mockler and Brian Gavin for the effort they have put into training the lads. The Panel was: Conor Cushen, Thomas Devine, Dion Conroy, Adam McCloskey, Patrick Phelan, Ciaran Ennis (Capt), Luke Kennedy, Jack Reynolds. Lorcan Cornally, Cormac Delaney, Adam Kelly, Adam Grennan, Dylan Taylor, Kian Fitzpatrick, Liam Dignam, Aodhan Moran and Kai Dunne.

Membership

Membership for 2016 is now due and this can be paid to any member of the committee.

Bingo

Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8.15pm in the GAA Centre. All welcome.

Yearly Lotto Subscription

The yearly lotto subscription of €75 is now due and this can be paid to any member of the committee.
