Lotto Results
The draw for the weekly club lotto took place on Sunday night last at Bingo. The numbers drawn were: 1-6-20-22. There was no winner of the jackpot. There were 6 Match 3 winners who receive €25 each and these were:
– Desmond Dunne
– The Fleming Girls
– MJ Connolly
– Margaret Fleming
– Rose Adamson
– Roseann Molyneaux
Next weeks’ jackpot is €14,300 and the draw will be held at Bingo on Sunday 3rd January.
James Roche RIP
We at Clara GAA club were saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely passing of another one of our great players, James Roche.
A loyal and long serving Gael James played both hurling and football for both club and County. He is a holder of numerous underage football and hurling titles in the 1950’s. James was a playing member of Clara’s first ever senior football championship title in 1960. He was also on the successful senior football team that won in 1964. James was a regular member of successful Goodbody’s football and hurling teams for many years.
James was a tough attacking half back who had plenty of pace. He was a gentleman off the field and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by us all at Clara GAA club.
Sincere sympathies are extended to the Roche family and his many friends.

Membership for 2016 is now due and this can be paid to any member of the committee.

Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8.15pm in the GAA Centre. All welcome.
