Call out for Home-Chef’s across Offaly from The Nation’s Favourite Chef, Neven Maguire

Ireland’s ‘Best Chef 2014’, Neven Maguire, launches his new book ‘The Nation’s Favourite Food FAST’ with a challenge for home cooks across Offaly, called ‘Fast Favourites’.

Neven is inviting cooks across Offaly to send him pictures of their favourite ‘fast’ dishes and how long it took them to cook via Facebook or Twitter (using the hash tag #favefoodfast). He will then choose three of his favourites dishes each week to receive a signed copy of his new book. At the end of the four week competition, one lucky finalist will win a cookery class for two at the new ‘Neven Maguire Cookery School’.

Perfect for busy parents, students, people working long hours and those under time pressure – Neven’s latest book, his eleventh, compiles his favourite 100 recipes for quick, simple, nutritious meals – with a few naughty desserts to enjoy. Recipes include those for speedy suppers, clever lunchbox and leftover ideas and fast healthy alternatives to take away.

“When eating at home with our twins, Connor and Lucia, my wife Amelda and I love great tasting, easy to cook, nutritious meals.
