Junior A Football Championship

We played Tubber in Tubber last Friday night and won on a score line of 1-17 to 1-5. The Clara team was: Wayne Flanagan, Evan O’Meara, Darren Kelly, Martin Fleming, Darren Coughlan(0-1), Andrew Cushen, Paul Mitchell(0-1), Kieran O’Meara, Callam Stewart, Pa Smith(1-2), John O’Hara, Stephen Buckley(0-1), Joey Deehan(0-7, 0-3frees), Darren Scanlon(0-3) and Luke Dignam(0-1). Sub: Darren Fleming(0-1) for L Dignam

Clara GAA Golf Classic will take place Friday 11^th July. The format will be a 3 ball scramble, with a BBQ at the 12^th tee. The price is €30 per person or €90 per team. The times are 1pm to 5pm on Friday 11^th July and 8am – 10.30am on Saturday 12^th July. The committee for the golf classic is: Brian Gavin, Kevin Roe, Michael Mullen, John Naughton, Paul Stewart, Aaron Baggot, Padraig O’Meara and Tom Naughton.

 WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO

Lotto results 21/06/14 Numbers drawn were 5-7-20-29. There was no winner of the Jackpot. We had 2 match 3’s who will receive €75 each. These were: Ann McGuiness and Mary, Courtney and Ronan. Next week’s draw is for €2300 and takes place in Whites at 10pm on Saturday night. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.
