U8 INDOOR HURLING LEAGUE

Three great games were again played last Tuesday night in the 2014 indoor hurling league with great skill and effort on show from these U8 hurlers. First Kilbride got the better of Aughamore with a score of 6 goals to 4 but both teams showed some great defensive work. The second game of the night was a very tight game with Woodfield coming from behind to beat Clashawaun by 4 goals to 3. The final clash was another huge battle with the lead changing two times but Ballinough finished the stronger and bet Kilcoursey 6 goals to 4. There are 3 rounds left in the league with the 3 finals fixed for 11th March. So far this years league is turning out to be one of the best so far so please show your support for our young hurlers and come to the Gaa centre every Tuesday night 7pm for a great nights entertainment

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO

Lotto results 15/02/14 Numbers drawn were 3-19-23-28. There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. There were 4 match 3 winners and they were Kieran Stones, John Reynolds, Chris Dwyer and Kevin Cornally who receive €40 each, well done. Next week’s draw is for €5,600 and takes place in Cowen’s at10pm on Saturday night. Tickets are available from committee members and in premises throughout the town priced at €1.50. All support greatly appreciated.

Monster Bingo

Clara GAA will be hosting a Monster Bingo on Sunday 2^nd March. There will be €4,500 in prize money given out on the night.

Registration Night

There will be a registration night held on Wednesday 5^th March at 7pm for all members. Underage mentors will be in attendance on the night so that players and parents will know who is over the different age groups. All parents and children are welcome to join our club for 2014.

National Draw

There is a National Draw been run by the GAA to help clubs raise funds.  All tickets sold will go to Clara GAA club which is a big boost and help to the club in the current financial climate. In addition to the prizes listed below the club will be holding an internal draw for anyone who buys a ticket off Clara GAA. There will be 4 prizes of €50. The price of a ticket for this draw is€10. The draw will take place on St. Patricks Day in Croke Park at the All Ireland Club Finals.
