Cloughjordan EcoLearn Experience Day: Introduction To Cob
Spend a day immersed in a hands-on introduction to the beauty of cob building in Cloughjordan Ecovillage, Ireland’s leading eco-neighbourhood. We will look at materials – earth straw and water – where to get them and how to mix them into cob. Learn how to sculpt walls and decorative features. Visit cob buildings that are in use and under construction. This is the perfect day for those who want to get their hands dirty! Hosted by Ecovillage member and cob builder Eileen Flanagan. This is the first of six EcoLearn Experience Days hosted by Cloughjordan Ecovillage between April and October that will offer fun, inspiring learning experiences and unique opportunities to learn about the diversity of areas that are being explored in the ecovillage.
