Drumcullen GAA Club
AGM: The rescheduled AGM took place on Monday night but had to be adjourned as there were no nominees or volunteers for the position of Secretary. The meeting will reconvene on Monday, January 7 when it is hoped to have a name to put to the floor to fill the position.
A number of issues were discussed on the night. Treasurer Peter Lyons told the large gathering that the club was in a stronger financial position at the end of 2012 than it had been at the start but he cautioned that there would need to be a continued control kept on the expenditure for the year ahead if the club was to get back in the black.
The continued link up with Seir Kieran at underage level was discussed and it was agreed that it was beneficial to the club to continue it to provide ‘A’ standard hurling for the club’s younger players
Lotto: The Lotto jackpot has now reached €10,300 after it wasn’t won again last weekend. Numbers drawn were 4, 13, 14 and 21. There were nine match 3 winners who received €20 each. Thanks to all who continue to support the lotto on a weekly basis and to all the ticket sellers and lotto teams who give of their time each week.
