LOTTO
The numbers drawn in Monday [21st May 2012] night’s Lotto were 09 16 18 26. There was no Jackpot Winner of €3,600 and 2 Match 3 Winners [Kathleen Brazil C/O Killeigh P/O; Lisa Brady C/O Martin Boland] [€100 Each]. Next week’s draw will take place in Doyle’s, Killeigh on TUESDAY 05th June 2012.
DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers suffered another defeat in the Div 1 League against Erin Rovers in Geashill last Wednesday evening on a scoreline of 2-09 to 1-15. Erin Rovers were first off the mark with the opening 4 points before Raheen sent over their first point. Then on 6 mins Raheen drew level with their first goal when Paddy Rigney made a break in from the wing then passed it to Richie Reynolds in the square who punched the ball to the net. Raheen edged ahead with 3 points to Erin Rovers 2 before Rovers re-took the lead when they got in to score their goal and a further 2 points to Raheen’s 1 saw Erin Rovers lead at the break by 1-08 to 1-05. In the first 10 mins of the second half the Pullough men put over 4 points and Raheen 2 points. Then midway through the half gave themselves hope of a comeback by getting their second goal when a line ball inside their own half was taken by Willie Stynes on the edge of the square and he rounded the keeper before shooting to the net. But Erin Rovers made sure there would be no comeback by tagging on their final 3 points without reply. Raheen did score the last 2 points in the final 2 mins but these proved to be just consolation scores.

Raheen Intermediate Footballers continue their Div 1 League campaign this Friday evening (01 June) @ 7:30pm as they take on Clara in Clara. All support would be appreciated.
DIVISION 3 HURLING LEAGUE
Raheen Hurlers continue their Div 3 League campaign next Monday (04 June) at 3pm as they take on Coolderry in Coolderry. All support would be appreciated.
CONGRATULATIONS
Raheen GAA would like to congratulate Craig O’Halloran and Ann Marie McCarthy on the birth of their baby son on the weekend before last.
SYMPATHY
Raheen GAA would like to extend deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the Late Kieran McEvoy, Gracefield who tragically passed away last Saturday week. RIP.
MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible. This year there are 2 membership options. Option 1 includes entry in our weekly club lotto draw and Subscriptions are Playing Members €120, Students/ OAP’s & Non Playing Members €110. Option 2 is the same as previous years and Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Shane Carroll, Padraig Direen or Craig O’Halloran. New members are very welcome.
