The numbers drawn in Monday [16TH April 2012] night’s Lotto were 08 18 19 25. Next week’s draw will take place in The Caman Inn, Cloneygowan on Monday 30th April 2012.
DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Raheen Intermediate Footballers came close but suffered another defeat in the Div 1 League against Shamrocks in Mucklagh last Wednesday evening on a scoreline of 0-13 to 2-05. Shamrocks got off to the better start as they opened up a lead of 6 points to 1. Then with just over 10 mins remaining in the first half Raheen got right into it by scoring their first goal when Richie Reynolds high shot from about 40m out was won by Shane Carroll in the square who rounded his man before shooting past the keeper to the net. Shamrocks added 4 more points before the break with Raheen replying with 2 points and so at half time Shamrocks led by 0-10 to 1-03. Shamrocks sent over another 3 points without reply early in the second half but would not score again for the remainder of the game. Mid way through the half Raheen gave themselves hope when they were awarded a penalty after Richie Reynolds was brought down in the area which Paddy Rigney fired to the net. 2 more points followed for Raheen but Shanrocks held on to claim the win.

MEMBERSHIP
Members are asked to renew their membership as soon as possible. This year there are 2 membership options. Option 1 includes entry in our weekly club lotto draw and Subscriptions are Playing Members €120, Students/ OAP’s & Non Playing Members €110. Option 2 is the same as previous years and Subscriptions are Playing Members €30, Students/ OAP’s €15 & Non Playing Members €20. Payments can be given to Membership Officers Shane Carroll, Padraig Direen or Craig O’Halloran. New members are very welcome.
