Leinster 2/1 Favourites to Reclaim Heineken Cup
Boylesports Heineken Cup Odds
Boylesports have installed Leinster as the 2/1 Heineken Cup favourites.
The current European champions, who are boosted by the return to action of
Brian O’Driscoll and Leo Cullen, are as short as 2/15 to conquer the
Cardiff Blues in Saturday’s quarter final. Cardiff are a very
appealing 6/1.
The all Irish clash between Munster and Ulster see’s Tony McGahan’s charges
as strong 4/11 favourites, however Ulster who are the form side in the Rabo
Direct Pro 12 are priced at 13/5.
The other quarter final pairings sees the heavily backed Toulouse travel to
Edinburgh as 1/3 favourites with the hosts quoted at 11/4 while Saracens,
who have a squad packed with English internationals, are 5/6 to beat French
side Clermont Auvergne who are 23/20.
Leon Blanche, spokesperson for Boylesports, commented, “With a somewhat
disappointing Six Nations out of the way we can now look forward to the
provinces returning to Heineken Cup action. Leinster’s win in Limerick at
the weekend will serve as a significant boost and they seem to be peaking
at the right time. The mouth watering derby clash between Munster and
Ulstermight go down to wire with 22/1 for the draw.”
