Congratulations to Elaine Dermody who was chosen as the Camogie Player of the Year in the Offaly GAA Player of the Year Awards. It is the first time that camogie has been included in the awards and as club and county captain, as well as being among the top scorers in the All Ireland Championship, it is fitting that Elaine should be honoured. The presentation night takes place in the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore on January 13 next.

(December 10) Numbers drawn were 4, 18, 20 and 25. No jackpot winner. Two match 3s were Mrs Conway and Seamus/Liam/Yvonne/Breda O’Brien. Promoter’s Prize went to Shammy Nolan. Jackpot next week is €5,800.
