Drumcullen GAA Club Notes 8th Aug

U-16 Semi-Final: Best of luck to the club’s U-16s who play in the County B semi-final against Shamrocks this Sunday at 7pm. At the time of writing a venue for the game had yet to be arranged.
JFC C: Drumcullen had an excellent 5-8 to 1-13 win over table toppers Shannonbridge to leave them tied for second in the group.
Camogie: Congratulations to the Drumcullen Senior camogie team who had a good win over Tullamore in Rath on Sunday on a scoreline of 4-13 to 4-7.
Fixtures: It is another busy weekend on the fixtures front starting on Thursday as the Senior Hurlers play their penultimate group game against Shinrone in Birr at 7.15pm.
The Junor C team are at home against Kinnitty on Friday at 7.30pm while the Junior hurlers travel to Geashill on Sunday to face Raheen in a crucial game at 5.30pm.
Also on Saturday, Rath will host the SHC game between Shamrocks and Kinnitty at 5.30pm. All assistance stewarding at this game would be greatly appreciated.
