Drumcullen GAA Club Notes 15th August
SHC: Drumcullen were defeated by Shinrone in their fifth game of the Championship in Birr last Thursday on a scoreline of 1-20 to 0-12. In the same group Kinnitty defeated Shamrocks on Saturday in Rath which means Drumcullen finish fifth in the group and will not be involved in the relegation play-off.
JHC: Drumcullen had an excellent win way to Raheen by 2-15 to 0-7. A win or a draw in their final group game would be enough to get Drumcullen into the semi-finals.
JHC C: Drumcullen recorded their first win of the campaign with a 2-7 to 1-3 win over Kinnitty.
Fixture: Drumcullen travel to Doon to take on the home side in the JFC C on Monday next at 7.15pm. A win in that game would be enough to secure a place in the semi-final.
Field Rota: Team 1, Toni Ryan’s team, is on duty this week.
Lotto Rota: Team 1, Willie Fleury’s team, is on duty this week.
