Drumcullen GAA Club notes 5th July
Result: Drumcullen lost out to Lusmagh in the Division 1 HL Relegation Play-Off in Kilcormac on Sunday evening. Lusmagh 1-27 Drumcullen 2-21. Depending on the format the league takes in 2012, Drumcullen could now find themselves in Division 2.
Golf Classic: Thanks to everyone who supported the club’s Annual Golf Classic by sponsoring a hole or a tee-box or by taking part. Thanks to all who helped on the day and also Birr Golf Club for hosting the event.
Fixtures: The Junior C Footballers have two games in the coming days. On Friday they travel to Bracknagh to face Bracknagh at 7.30pm while on Tuesday they welcome Clonbullogue to Rath. That game also throws in at 7.30pm.
Field Rota: Team 5, Brendan Hynes’ team, is on duty this week.
Lotto Rota: Team 5, Peter Lyons’ team, is on duty this week
