Junior A Football Championship

Clara played Cappincur in Cappincur last Wednesday night in the first round of the Junior A Football Championship and won on a score line of 2-8 to 0-6. Junior B Hurling Championship

Clara played Gracefield on Saturday last in Clara and lost on a score line of 1-16 to 0-15. The Clara team was: Brian Gavin, Jamie Murray, Pa Smith, Ger Rabbitte, Enda Dunne, Sean Nolan (Capt), Willie Fleming, Keir Mannering, Owen Wyer (0-8,0-7frees), John Rickard, Ivan Melia, Nigel McEvoy, Derek Coyne, Kevin Murray, Michael Mitchell. Offaly V Limerick

Best of luck to the Offaly team and the Clara players who are involved with the panal who play Limerick in the next round of the football qualifiers next weekend.

Munster Hurling Final

The club would like to wish Brian Gavin the best of luck when he referees the Munster Hurling Final between Waterford and Tipperary this coming weekend.

Weekly Club Lotto

Weekly Lotto 02/07/2011-There was no winner of the weekly club Lotto jackpot. The winning numbers were 18-19-21-26. There were three match three winners and they were, Emma Johnson, Gerard Lynam, Jessica & Margaret. Next weeks lotto takes place in Baggots and the Jackpot is €3650. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.

Clara GAA Golf Classic

The Clara GAA Golf Classic will take place on the 19^th of August in Esker Hills Golf Club. There will be two time slots. 10am – 12Noon and 2pm – 5pm. The format will be a 3 Ball Scramble and the price is €120 per team of 3
