Ferbane GAA Club notes for Week Ending 25th June
Junior B Championship
The Junior B footballers get their season underway this week and the squad will warm up for the campaign with a challenge match this Saturday in Ferbane against Durrow. The club is determined to make a real attack on all three championships this year so all players available for selection are urged to get down to the field and get things going in the best possible fashion.
The championship starts on Thursday evening with an away tie against Rhode, throwing in at 7.30pm. This promises to be a very tough test so best of luck to everyone taking part.
Junior A Championship
The junior A footballers, under the guidance of Brian Lowry and Mel Keenaghan, have put in some very solid performances in the league in recent weeks and the time has come to step up to championship level for them now too. They start their campaign in Ferbane on Wednesday night next against Shamrocks and any supporters available to cheer them on are encouraged to do so.
