Clara played Shannonbridge last Wednesday night and won on a score line of 3-10 to 0-9. Weekly Club Lotto
Weekly lotto 10th June 2011. There was no winner of the jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3-4-19-27. There were 5 match 3’s. These were: Nanto & Billy, A.E. Baggot, Debbie Tracey, Joe Dunne and Butch Cassidy. Next weeks draw takes place in Whites and the jackpot is 3200. Thanks to all who support our lotto and thanks to all our ticket sellers.
100 Euro Draw
The Club would like to thank all members for supporting the 100 Euro Draw. We had 1 winner of 500 Euro in the 1st draw. This was, Simon Hughes The Green
UNDERAGE OUTDOOR HURLING TRAINING
All underage hurling training continues every Thurs at 6.20pm to 7.30 in Pairc Phroinsias, Kilcoursey
All players are asked to attend on time and bring hurl/helmet/shinguards. Hurls and helmets will be available for sale from Orla Dolan before training.
We would like to thank the new Offaly hurling county co-ordinator Pat Cleary for all his help over the last few weeks. Pat has organized former Offaly hurlers to help with Club training and Clara has been very lucky to have the assignment of Johnny Dooley. Johnny trained the U10’s two weeks ago and last week put the U8’s through their paces. He also took time to speak to the U6’s introducing himself as Shane Dooleys uncle which was very impressive to these young lads. This is a new concept in Offaly and will definatley help promote the game. Well done to all the ex-county players
